Introducing the Bremont Supernova Tourbillon
A bold expression of contemporary haute horlogerie, the new Bremont Supernova Tourbillon redefines mechanical artistry through the lens of advanced engineering and celestial inspiration. Designed as part of the new Supernova universe, this striking creation captures the spirit of exploration, where precision watchmaking meets architectural imagination.
At its heart, the timepiece is powered by a customised La Joux-Perret manufacture movement, developed exclusively to Bremont’s exacting specifications. La Joux-Perret This refined engine brings together technical mastery and reliability, forming the foundation for a flying tourbillon that rotates once per minute to counteract the effects of gravity. The result is remarkable precision, with a daily rate tolerance of −5 to +5 seconds and an impressive 60-hour power reserve.
The Supernova Tourbillon is defined by its sculptural, skeletonised construction. Geometric anthracite bridges form a bold architectural framework, accented with blue Super-LumiNova® inlays that illuminate the structure with a futuristic glow. A subtle sunray effect radiates outward from the tourbillon positioned at 6 o’clock, reinforcing the sense of motion and cosmic energy that inspired the collection.
Encased in a 41mm body crafted from 904L stainless steel, the watch combines brushed and polished facets that play dynamically with light. Known for its exceptional durability and corrosion resistance, this aerospace-grade material enhances both performance and presence on the wrist. The case architecture draws from Bremont’s iconic Trip-Tick construction, while the decahedral black ceramic bezel adds depth and modernity through its multi-faceted design. The integrated 904L steel bracelet completes the seamless, technical aesthetic.
The design language continues through every detail, from the crown and bezel to the case finishing, creating a unified expression of contemporary engineering. Beneath the domed sapphire crystal, the Bremont logo appears suspended above the openworked movement, reinforcing the sense of depth and transparency. A black dial flange, accented with blue minute markers, frames the calibre with precision, while a discreet “London” inscription at 6 o’clock pays homage to the brand’s British heritage.
Luminous blue Super-LumiNova® accents across the bridges evoke the glow of spacecraft navigating the darkness of space, further enhancing the watch’s futuristic identity. This interplay of light, structure, and motion reflects the Supernova collection’s ambition, to translate the wonder of space exploration into mechanical form.
The Bremont Supernova Tourbillon stands as a powerful convergence of artistry and innovation. It is a sculptural statement for collectors who value technical excellence, avant-garde design, and the rare distinction of a flying tourbillon, an embodiment of modern horology at its most expressive.
