The World Is Yours Dual Time Zone collection is a tribute to the watch that started it all. The watch that opened the world of watchmaking to Jacob Arabo. It's inspired by a vintage timepiece that's an Arabov family heirloom : a double time zone watch that Jacob Arabo received at the age of 13, from the hands of his father, Nison Arabov.
Like its inspiration, it features a double, independent timezone, shown on two sub-dials set separately. Each one shows a different hour and a different minute, allowing to keep up with any timezones, including India's, set at UTC + 4:30.
Caliber JCAA45 is an entirely new creation, designed specifically for The World Is Yours Dual Time Zone Tourbillon. To the original, defining dual time zone complication, it adds a central 30-second tourbillon. Its upper bridge is made of sapphire and the ensemble is topped by the compass rose that's an integral part of the collection.
What's more, and for the first time in the history of Jacob & Co. movements, this caliber is wound automatically by an off-centered micro-rotor. This special architecture dramatically reduces height, and allows for a 65-hour power reserve.
